Description:

St. Mary Medical Center, a member of Trinity Health Mid Atlantic, is seeking experienced housekeepers to join our Linen Room Team.

Schedule: Pool/per diem

Shift: Rotating

• Must be able to work weekends and holiday rotation

Linen Room Aide

• Sets up packs of linen for the operating room, the emergency room and the rest of SMMC.

• Coordinates, weighs and records the weight of all clean linens SMMC receives from the commercial laundry.

• Completes necessary paperwork for proper documentation of clean linen processed/received.

• Weighs and packages soiled linen before shipment to aid infection control in SMMC.

• Sets up all linen exchange or replacement carts as needed or scheduled.

• Coordinates delivery of the carts with the dispatcher.

• Assists with call for emergency or extra linen.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalency (preferred)

• Must be able to push/pull linen cart up to 50 lbs
