R+L Carriers is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Linehaul Dispatcher to work in our Lebanon, PA Service Center to plan, direct and coordinate the movement of regional and national LTL shipments.

Job Responsibilities:

• Developing geographical specific plans to insure service standards are achieved in the most economical means possible.

• Direct the use of Purchased Transportation and Intermodal

• Coordinate LCV lanes in geographical areas. (when required)

• Reduce partial and empty dispatches by managing freight flow and resources.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Experience and education a plus!

• Effective verbal, written and interpersonal skills

• Experience using PC, Database and Mainframe applications.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Dispatch supervising experience required
