Line Technician

Bihler's manufacturing plant is looking for a Line Technician. Experience in operating, setting up, and performing maintenance on high precision equipment in a metal stamping and forming environment.

Working with integrated software to produce and develop new parts for both the Rail car and Automotive industries. Produce parts to customer specifications. Understand piece part drawings. Measure parts using the proper inspection equipment and inspect raw materials.

Enter data and fill out inspection sheets. Make adjustment to tooling to keep parts in specification. Ensure proper labeling, packaging and palletizing of parts.

Perform all other duties, as assigned. Take accountability for downtime and continual improvement ideas. Skills and Requirements:

Positive attitude and a team player. Must have good record keeping skills. Ability to measure parts accurately using toolmaker microscopes, comparators etc.

Willingness to work overtime when required. Good work ethics and a desire to learn are essential. Good communication skills and attention to details are a must.

Physical Requirements: Be able to work in assembly plants. Frequent standing, lifting, and walking.

Specific Knowledge, License, Certifications, etc.: 3 years minimum recent experience working in a manufacturing environment. GED or High School Diploma Required.
