Line Maintenance Mechanics are responsible to perform all maintenance functions and effectively troubleshoot all aircraft. They are also responsible for proficiency in all documentation and paperwork.

Primary Job Duties:

  • Must be able to effectively troubleshoot all aircraft systems

  • Will be responsible for making critical decisions in a timely manner regarding aircraft safety

  • Must be able to perform all line maintenance functions unsupervised, at any time

  • Will be responsible for proficiency in all documentation and paperwork, including parts paperwork

  • Road trips are mandatory

Minimum Requirements

  • Must hold a valid FAA issued A&P Certificate

  • Level III Mechanic with good trouble shooting skills

  • Must have excellent communication and people skills

  • Problem solving and organizational skills are required

  • Willing to work nights and holidays

  • Exercise good judgment in working with people in a team environment as well as in aircraft maintenance and safety

  • Must be familiar with and be able to read and understand Company and Manufacturer Manuals

  • CRJ and EMB Run-Taxi will be required

  • RII and Airworthiness Release Authorizations will be required

  • Preferred two or more years prior aviation repair experience

  • Must possess a valid driver's license

Physical and Other Requirements

  • Able to comfortably lift 75 lbs. routinely with or without a reasonable accommodation

  • Must have a reliable source of transportation to get to and from your base; at your own expense

Creating, reading, and editing logic diagrams, wiring diagrams, single lines, and P&IDs perform and or verify process/control design for projects (PLC's, Networks, Drives, Instrumentation, control panels, etc.) * Support Production Maintenance Mechanics and Equipment Operators to solve machine issues by troubleshooting difficult equipment problems, must quickly and correctly accomplish equipment repairs, and meticulously perform preventative maintenance on equipment.. * Must have understanding of industrial power distribution and wiring practices; being able to install panel boxes, remote control equipment, power and lighting circuits and install/troubleshoot 120V, 240V and 480V motors, as well as, VFD's and Servo drives. * Required to accurately generate parts request and complete preventative maintenance worksheets in a timely manner. * Generate and complete work orders as assigned. * Comply with KDP Good Manufacturing Practices and Safety Program. Complete ARC Flash training and comply w/ during daily operations and duties.
