POSITION: LINE LEADER

Summary:
Leads , mentors , supports and helps in the development of teams or on an individual basis disabled Individuals. Performs repetitive bench or line assembly operations to mass-produce products in various departments on various work shifts. Completes various packaging, parts assembly, kitting, manual and/or machine assembly operations. Distributes product to market as instructed. Receives and gives training as instructed and/or provided. Responsible for ensuring production line is running smoothly, production/packaging is performed accurately according to customer specifications,paperwork is completed accurately, counts are correct, keeps work areas orderly, organized and safe. Works together as part of a team in a professional,productive, cooperative manner. Ensures all company policies and procedures are followed at all times by performing the following duties.

I. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Works at different plants as production/packaging needs require and/or as assigned by

  • Supervisor/Management.

  • Must work all shifts/hours as required and/or scheduled to ensure production/packaging

  • needs are met.

  • Must work over time as assigned and as needed to meet production schedules.

  • Responsible for setting up production lines, take down of production lines, purging production

  • areas and cleaning production area as assigned and/or trained.

  • Performs process inspections and audits as required and/or as assigned/trained by Supervisor/

  • Management for specific assembly. Processes all required paperwork to comply with service of our Individualss, cGMPS and CWSs OJT , Job Aids and SOPSs

  • Communicates, handles and distributes customers goods as instructed.

  • Works on line where tasks vary as different model of same article moves along line.

II. TEAMWORK

  • Encourage and maintain a positive working relationship with all departments in the agency, families and advocates, individuals supported, staff and board members, and community partners.

  • Communicate all health, safety, client care and/or program concerns, sensitive situations and incidents to supervisor

  • Attend, facilitate and participate in all required and/or requested departmental or agency meetings

III. DOCUMENTATION

  • Complete required documentation in conformance with rules, regulations, policies and procedures and billing practices

IV. COMPLIANCE & ACCOUNTABILITY

  • Identify and report any untoward incidents and conduct investigations related to allegations of abuse or breach of corporate compliance standards.

  • Identify, report and/or correct all safety hazards including physical plant problems and/or problem work practices and assist with investigating all work-related accidents as requested

  • Fully participate in all required activities and administrative duties relating to investigations, incidents and accidents in assigned program areas and other areas as requested

  • Ensure self and assigned program compliance with all State and Federal regulations along with agency policies and practices

V. TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT

  • Attend all required training, staff development programs and committees and/or staff meetings as required by the agency and/or State and Federal regulations

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Possess good interpersonal, written, oral, and communication abilities and effective time management/organizational skills

  • Able to work scheduled hours that may include overtime, weekend and/or holiday timeframes and maintain an acceptable work attendance as defined in the agencys personnel policy manual and handbook.

  • Be computer literate with knowledge in agency operating systems and applicable software required for department needs.

  • Able to generate and present comprehensive written reports and respond to questions about the report

  • Demonstrate sound judgment in normal work and emergency situations

  • Must physically be able to perform required certifications and lift fifty (50) pounds

  • Possess a valid drivers license acceptable to the agencys insurance carrier (Or as deemed appropriate by leadership)

VIEW JOBS 7/3/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-10-01T00:00 POSITION: Team Leader DEPARTMENT: Manufacturing DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervises and coordinates manufacturing floor and activities of production workers to achieve on-time delivery schedules, and building a quality product by performing the following duties. I. JOB KNOWLEDGE * Provides detailed instructions to clients and production employees to assure that each understands instructions before proceeding. * Responsible for collecting and turning in associated training forms for production employees. * Ensures clients and/or production employee time sheets are correct. * Follows procedures in job packet pertaining to processes, efficiencies, equipment required for Bill of Material. Reviews with Production Manager as needed to ensure work is done accurately and on time. * Checks and signs efficiency sheets to ensure that information contained therein is complete. * Document daily in Work Book designed to monitor and report profitability of each project. * Monitors efficiency reports on a daily basis and reviews same with respective employees to strive to keep a 95% efficiency average. * Assures that safety is constantly considered in all set ups and production lines. * Verifies that in process inspections are being performed as required in areas of responsibility. * Contacts warehouse for needed floor stock and pick up of completed work from floor. * Works with productions mechanic to maintain equipment, and tools and keep in safe, efficient working order. * Notifies Production Manager when deliveries cannot be met, along with providing a defined plan outlining what steps are necessary to achieve the goal (i.e. overtime, additional personnel, etc.) * Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of Reconciliations, coding and labeling. * Performs Basic First Aid procedures when necessary. * Assists in material handling on the production line. * Responsible for following and enforcing all company policies and procedures. * Successfully completes and maintains certifications for all required training for position, including but not limited to: Strategies for Crisis Intervention & Prevention (SCIP), CPR, First-Aid and GMP. * Reports to work on time and as scheduled.
