Job Purpose

This position is responsible for quality tool maturation in our frame & vehicle quality department through understanding of upcoming new model technology and its impact to our factory and processes.

Key Accountabilities

• Ability to analyze and feedback complex problems to management & stakeholders

• Understand technical specifications and responsible for inspection setup

• Reporting to ITG management & communication to non-technical stakeholders

• Development of new inspections & modification to existing based on new upcoming tech

• Supporting other team members via verification activity & collaborative troubleshooting

• Lead new technology projects & training for associates

• Continuous improvement activities to reduce process complexity & improve production characteristics

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar experience

• Experience in manufacturing and/or automotive troubleshooting preferred

• Strong Root Cause Analysis experience

• Experience with programming languages (PLC preferred, SQL, etc.)

• Reading and understanding electrical drawings & specifications

• Project Management

• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word)

Workstyle

• Office Environment with frequent interaction with production activities

• Up to 5-10 hours of OT in limited cases

• Less than 10% travel (domestic / international)
