Interviewing candidates for Line Cook positions.
Busy, growing, high end Italian concept is seeking a Line Cook to complement our team. Candidates should have professional kitchen experience, including working a hot line and grill. A culinary degree is not required but 2-3 years line experience are required, as well as strong communication skills. Experience in traditional and contemporary Italian is a plus as are pastry and classical techniques.
Please no overinflated egos or bad tempers.
Cooking and preparing all menu items in accordance standards set by the Chef
Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food on the line
Food preparation and portioning prior to service
Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment
Ability to lift 60 lbs and stand for long periods of time
Experience in a full service restaurant is desired, Must have a flexible schedule.
