The James is a neighborhood restaurant offering traditional American fare in the heart of James Island in Charleston, SC. With an inviting, family-friendly atmosphere, The James offers familiar dishes and top-notch hospitality, creating a community gathering place to return to time and time again. Locally operated by The Neighborhood Dining Group (Husk, Marbled & Fin, Delaney Oyster House, and Minero).

We are looking for Full-Time Line Cooks who want to join a team of true hospitality professionals. Someone interested in learning new techniques enjoys working with locally sourced ingredients and is eager to assist in achieving our culinary vision.

• Dinner only 7 days per week
• Lunch & Dinner 5 days per week

What we are looking for in our James Team Members:

• Skills in food production with the ability to follow recipes and guidelines.
• Applicants should have at least 1+ years experience cooking in a full-service, fast-paced restaurant.
• Understanding of food and kitchen safety and sanitation standards.
• Comfortability with multi-tasking and prioritizing job duties working quickly, cleanly and efficiently.
• Willingness to get the job done correctly!
