POSITION SNAPSHOT: The line cook position is responsible for creating an exceptional culinary experience for our Guests through the preparation and presentation of our menu. The line cook is also responsible for the correct handling and preparation of all food items to ensure our Guests' safety at all times.


  • Delivers an unparalleled Guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games in an ideal environment for celebrating all out fun.

  • Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action.

  • Adheres to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.

  • Safely and correctly operates all equipment.

  • Uses all chemicals properly in the correct quantities for safety and cost control.

  • Ensures that all products are stored properly in the correct location at the appropriate levels at all times.

  • Prepares and sells food that meets all food quality indicators and prepared to Guest expectations.

  • Sells food within recommended time frames to meet Guest expectations.

  • Responsible for preparing and cooking all food items by recipe and to specification.

  • Controls costs by following prep sheets as designed to ensure the freshest product is served and eliminate waste.

  • Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas.

  • Responsible for station maintenance, cleanliness and sanitation.

  • Cleaning and maintenance of all kitchen mats, floors, walls and drains.

  • Empties kitchen trash and cleans and maintains trash cans.

  • Assists other Team Members as needed or when business needs dictate.

  • Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company team members to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate that will be conducive to maximum team member morale, productivity and efficiency/effectiveness.

  • Must be friendly and able to smile a lot while working days, nights and/or weekends as required.

  • Previous kitchen experience at a hotel or restaurant is preferred, but not required.

  • Must demonstrate ability to clearly communicate with other team members.

  • Must be disciplined and self-motivated.

  • Is dressed in accordance with dress guidelines, looking neat, clean and professional at all times.

Responsibilities The Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Medicine and Primary Care Service Line will play a key role in executing growth strategies that will continue to advance WellStar Health System as the premier provider of medicine and primary care services in the state of Georgia. The AVP will report to the Vice President Service Lines. Working closely with the Chief Medical Officer and VP Medical Group Ambulatory Division, the AVP will have responsibility for planning, directing, and coordinating initiatives around: * Growth * Quality & Patient Safety * Customer Service * Physician integration * Practice Consistency * Financial Performance * Strategic Planning This leader will work to provide effective leadership with regard to finances, relationship development and management with key stakeholders and practicing physicians, strategic growth in a competitive market, and the ability to create and align a vision for the medicine and primary care practices with larger organizational goals. The AVP will be expected to excel in prioritizing the development, monitoring, and reporting quality and or other (e.g. financial) metrics with diligence. Working in collaboration with the hospital presidents, operational leaders at all sites, and the leaders of the WellStar Medical Group, the AVP will ensure that the service lines meet all of their goals. This position will actively participate in the developing of strategies, goals and tactics to enhance the offerings of WellStar Health System to providers and community partners. The AVP will assist in the further development and formalization of an integrated service line approach to medicine and primary care throughout WellStar. This leader will collaborate with Hospital medicine, WellStar Clinical Partners, Accountable Care Organization members and WellStar Medical Group to to identify opportunities to grow and further integrate the medicine and primary care service line. The ideal candidate will have both an entrepreneurial spirit and track record of development and growing service lines combined with experience with hospital operations and strategic initiatives. The AVP will be expected to have a larger view and understanding of trends in Service Line and Medicine and Primary Care delivery opportunities brought forth on the regional or national level. Examples of this would include routine literature review, best practice sharing, and/or attending pertinent conferences. The AVP will utilize the service line model to help support the structure for population health management as WellStar. These system-wide service lines are organized around patient populations to achieve coordination of care to improve the overall health of the population with a focus on prevention and wellness. Qualifications Required Minimum Education: Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business or related field is required. Required Minimum Experience: Eight (8) to ten (10) years of experience in healthcare operations with progressive experience leading multiple departments. Five (5) years experience in primary care within an acute care hospital or physician group strongly preferred. Significant exposure to matrix operating structures and extensive experience with strategy development, program implementation, ambulatory services and/or hospital operations. Demonstrated ability to lead people through change processes and to execute on an organizational strategic plan. Strong practice operations background with experience involving multiple sites and a deep understanding of physician compensation and productivity models. Significant background in improving patient, employee, and physician satisfaction. A track record of effectively partnering and communicating with physicians to achieve objectives and results. An administrator who enjoys collaborating with physicians and is viewed as a balanced leader and a champion for patient quality and clinical excellence. A systems thinker who brings an ability to see the larger picture and fit medicine and primary care into the framework of overall system design and success. A strength in financial and business operations and a strong analytical orientation. Required Minimum Skills: Excellent physician relations skills and previous experience in growing volume. Skills in relationship development and collaboration across a matrix environment to establish coordinated plans for growth and delivery of medicine and primary care for WellStar Health System. Proven, effective, and innovative business development expertise, experience, and skills gained within organizations known for leading edge program development and a commitment to excellence. Proven ability to manage the financial and capital resources of service groupings.
