Position Overview

Assisting Hubbell Manufacturer Representatives, Hubbell Sales Teams, Electrical Distributors and End Users in the design, layout, pricing, and technical documentation for Hubbell branded commercial Lighting control Systems. Evaluating construction documents and technical specifications to match the correct system and design with the project while working as a team to align with customer needs. Communicate design intent and application selection throughout the process while understanding and adhearing to timelines and project priorities.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret engineering specifications, construction documents, and other pertinent material to determine proper application of Hubbell Control Solution products.

  • Provide design and layout for HCS lighting control systems for pre-sale quotations.

  • Provide Post-Sale tehcnical documentation specifiers and contractors for design approval and installation guidance

  • Provide pre-sales technical support and answer questions from end users, installers, and sales agents arising from the design and application of our products.

  • Provide market feedback to the New Product Development process and assist in the testing of new products against design specifications.

  • Maintain product cross reference to competitive products.

  • Customer contact via telephone and written correspondence to resolve design, application and layout issues with strong communication skills..

  • Audit and review work from team members to ensure accuracy.

  • Provide reliable and prompt communications to and from agents and distributors.

  • Working with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Excel, SAP and other proprietary software programs.

Skills and Experience

  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering with 1-5 years' experience in applications / drafting work OR High School with additional technical training (basic drafting / electrical).

  • AutoCAD experience preferred.

  • 2+ years industry experience

  • Must be technically adept with excellent communication skills (both written and oral).

  • Lighting Control knowledge a plus.

For more information, check out www.fieldcore.com This position is located in Greenville, SC Summary: This position will be for a Logistics Specialist who will be part of our Greenville Wind Outbound team and be located within GE offices in Greenville, SC. The Wind Outbound team is responsible for the logistics transportation scope to deliver to Wind Project Sites in North America. The main function of a Logistics Specialist is to coordinate the pick-up and delivery of GE freight, while minimizing transit time and logistics costs. This position will identify and analyze cost savings solutions through the implementation of load optimization strategies at an operational level. Responsibilities will include identifying commodity and equipment configurations needed to transport freight, recognizing and alerting carriers when freight requires additional special handling requirements, and highlighting carrier's inability to meet need dates and implementing scheduling solutions. Duties: * Schedule/Plan all outbound component shipments to GE Wind Project Sites and transit yards to include carrier coordination, document preparation, tracking and delivery confirmation of all shipments, communicating with various parts of the supply chain, providing status updates and reports of shipments to Suppliers, Carriers, Buyers, Operations Leaders, etc as needed * Analyze demand and sourcing Line of Balance to identify appropriate carrier and equipment type to achieve required delivery timeline of various wind turbine components * Collaborate with sourcing team or source transportation suppliers as needed to meet all delivery timelines and transportation requirements * Provide Carrier performance feedback to sourcing team for proper management of carriers * Update and maintain all systems of record with accurate, timely shipment information * Proactive management of shipment schedules to meet all deliveries of components and all internal metric deliverables Requirements: * Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Business Management or Supply Chain) -OR- equivalent experience in Logistics/Supply Chain/Project Management fields * Highly Advanced Proficiency in MS Excel, ability to develop spreadsheet solutions * Moderate Proficiency in all other MS Office programs; Access, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint * Capability to learn new software quickly and integrate knowledge into solutions * Ability to multitask in a demanding work environment * Excellent written and verbal communication * Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to handle high pressure, time sensitive issues * Exceptional planning, organizing and follow-up skills * Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills, both proactive and reactive * A self-starter, passion for improvement, and desire to learn Fieldcore Greenville SC
