Light, Non-Electronic Assembler

Description

Summary of Job:

Responsible for assembling oxygen regulators and related products per the manufacturing plan and/or blueprints and package for shipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Use electric screw gun to screw rotor onto shaft in valve body.
• Use of varied hand tools as needed.
• Use pneumatic press to install all parts into the body.
• Use air collet to hold body for installation of parts requiring use of torque wrench.
• Laser engraves.
• Pneumatic press for rotors and flame arrestors.
• Heat inserts machines.
• Arbor press for installing various filters.
• Pay close attention when building product due to the amount of parts involved and the number of leak paths involved.
• Assist in other areas, or tasks, to meet production needs.

Requirements

• Good communication skills.
• High school level reading and math skills.
• Up to and including 3 months assembly experience
• Attention to detail is vital in this position.

The pay for this position starts at a minimum of $14.68/hr. when the minimum job requirements are met and goes up based upon a candidate's experience and qualifications in a similar role. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on company performance.
