Position Title:
Lift Truck Driver- Production Location: Sacramento, CA Job Type (Full time/Part Time): Full Time Position

The Lift Truck Driver is responsible for movement, storage, documentation, and inventory of incoming and outgoing product.
Responsibilities: Responsible for movement, storage, documentation, and inventory of incoming and outgoing product.
This includes operating a forklift, moving material from various locations, loading and unloading vehicles.
May do high stacking and is expected to perform with a high degree of speed, accuracy, and safety.
Will be required to use SAP system and scanning equipment to maintain inventory counts and record inventory transactions as required.
Performs inventory functions as necessary.
May on occasion work in the following roles:
Supports the generalist concept by performing various sanitation duties, maintenance, housekeeping and other functions as assigned.
May perform general laborer work on seasonal basis.
Responsible for completing various documents and reports including daily lift sheet..
Maintains and adhere to Blue Diamond HACCP processes and auditing, Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMPs) and safety practices.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:
1 year prior forklift driver experience preferred.
Must be a licensed forklift driver and/or be able to pass a certification course.
Position requires excellent communication skills and a basic understanding of machine operations.
Must be able to climb up and down ladders and catwalks.
Must be able to identify and solve problems independently, coordinate workflow and meet output standards.
Must be able to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
Position requires the ability to work in noisy areas with exposure to heat, cold, a high level of almond dust, and movement of vehicles.
Daily lifting and carrying requirements of this position: occasionally (up to 3 hours) of lifting and carrying up to 50lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:
Prior forklift driver in a warehouse environment.
OSHA Forklift Operator certificate preferred.

High School Diploma or equivalent.
