This position assists the Lifestyle Director with resident programs to include; but, not limited to recreational, social, cultural, travel and entertainment for the Association. Responsibilities include program development, facility scheduling, administration of chartered clubs and overall program promotion and publicity. Ensures that all programs and services are conducted and fulfilled in a manner consistent with the goals and objectives of the Association.
Primary responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
Assists with planning, coordination and implementation of resident programs, classes and special community-wide events. In planning, he/she solicits input and involvement from residents to further stimulate participation.
Assists Members/Residents, chartered clubs and community organizations in the scheduling of Association facilities, to include program and room requirements, coordination with other Association departments; and, arrangements for the collection of fees as applicable.
Assists with the development and publicizing of the Association newsletter, including development of articles, photographs, proofreading and advertising.
Assists with newcomer presentations to ensure adequate promotion, room set-up, amenities and community participation.
Works with Residents/Members to assist in the establishment of chartered clubs. Provides assistance in the application for the charter process, assignment of facility space, development and promotion of programs, facilitates maintenance and acts as a general overseer.
Assists with developing an active volunteer program among Residents/Members, providing for both promotion and recognition.
Assists with supervision of Monitors.
Any other tasks as requested by the Community Association Manager and or Lifestyle Director.
Requirements & Skills
High School Diploma, degree in elated field preferred
CPR/AED certifications required
Responsible for maintaining Company, Resident and Staff confidentiality.
Strong communication, customer service and inter-personal skills
Must be able to "walk" properties in all weather conditions as necessary
Must be able to acquire and maintain current knowledge of the state statutes, association CC&R's, and Rules and Regulations.
Must be able and willing to work a variety of hours in order to meet the requirements of the position as scheduled by the Community Manager
Must hold a valid driver's license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle
