Job Summary

To ensure the prevention of injury and safety of all patrons utilizing the swimming pool.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervises swimming activities at the aquatics facility and ensures all policies and guidelines are followed.

• Administers first aid, CPR/AED to those in need.

• Evaluates conditions for safety including pool chemistry.

• Can follow and administer the facility EAP.

• Supervises and assists in the cleaning of the pool and related facilities and equipment.

• Wearing proper attire provided by the college.

Minimum Requirements

• Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification or YMCA Lifeguard Certificate.

• Candidate will be tested in skills scenarios prior to employment.

• CCRI registered students must have at least 6 credits in current term.

Competencies Reports To Coordinator Campus Location Primarily located at the Lincoln Campus Full-time/Part-time Part-Time Shift, Days, and Additional Work Schedule Information Part-Time (up to 19 hours per week) · Current Students must have at least 6 credits and may be limited in hours depending on Federal Work Study · Days, evenings, and weekends Work Schedule Calendar Benefits Salary/Hourly Rate $18.00/hour (Sept-May) $20.00/hour (June-August) Additional Salary Information Licenses, Tools and Equipment Environmental Conditions Desired Start Date ASAP Position End Date (if temporary or grant)
