WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're seeking a talented Lifecycle and Retention Manager as part of the Product function who is responsible for driving the user communication strategy, using a combination of analytical skills, creativity, and customer insight to craft and implement programs that result in measurable adoption, engagement, and revenue growth.
Lifecycle and Retention Manager has a very cross-functional role that partners with multiple teams, including: Product, Analytics, Marketing Operations, Growth Marketing, Growth Product, Support and Customer Experience to drive user engagement and growth with Manychat.
In this role, you'll be driving the user engagement motion and will have the unique opportunity to impact Manychat's growth in terms of user activation, engagement, product adoption, and retention. By co-creating an engaging, inspirational, educational and personalized lifecycle communications you will help Manychat to grow its already thriving and engaged users base across key customer profiles, in key markets and across all plans - from free to paid.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Write creative and impactful lifecycle copy: email newsletters, nurtures, in-product messaging, product promotional messages, and more.
Develop the content strategy and sequencing evergreen, cyclical and promotional campaigns depending on needs across segments with the goal of driving activation and revenue
Own, lead, and drive copy and content-related experiments and plans across lifecycle communications together with Marketing, (Product) Growth, Analytics and Marketing Operations.
Create new and improve existing emails, in-product experiences with dynamic content, as well as content for future localization.
Partner with Customer Education and Product Marketing on optimizing user onboarding content, leveraging existing content to build new learning paths, highlight product value being delivered, ultimately driving customer interest, trust and retention over time.
Collaborate closely with Growth Product on activation efforts, as well as the Billing and Platform team on streamlining monetization of product, add-ons and promotions
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
4+ years of copywriting experience at a tech company (SAAS a major plus), brand, or agency working on the B2B or B2B2C market
Writing impactful copy for digital touchpoints. Experience with writing for lifecycle channels (emails, push notifications, SMS, chatbots, in-app, and more)
Experience and proven results in driving business impact through copy and content experimentation and testing
Excellent English language writing and editing skills, creative thinking, and storytelling
Experience working with translations and localized content, experience writing data-driven dynamic content and UX copy
Customer-centricity, ability to understand different user segments, their needs, jobs, and struggles, and write personalized, and converting copy for them
Ability to drive effective results by taking a test and learn approach - and articulating rationale behind approaches and their impact
Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and establish relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
Strong sense of ownership and ability to prioritize
