  1. Maintains active surveillance of the pool; including all levels of the water and surrounding areas.
    2.Knows and reviews all emergency procedures and responds to emergency situations immediately.
    3.Completes related reports as required in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures.
    4.Knows, understands, and consistently applies safety rules, policies and guidelines for the pool area.
    5.Maintains accurate records as required by the YMCA and/or Health Department code.
    6.Maintains effective, positive relationships with the members, participants and other staff.
    7.Conveys basic program information to members and identify potential volunteers.
    8.Performs equipment checks and ensures appropriate equipment is ready and available as needed.
    9.Checks the pool for hazardous conditions when arriving. Performs chemical testing as required.
  2. Create a mission-based environment which enables everyone to be engaged in the YMCA movement.
  3. Attends all staff meetings and in-service training; trains and supervises junior lifeguards as assigned.

Requirements1. Minimum age of 16.
2.Ability to maintain certification-level of physical and mental readiness.
3.Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time in wide range of weather conditions.
4.Communicate with others immediately when responding to an incident or an emergency.
5.Ability to think in the abstract, solve problems, and make quick decisions under stress.
6.Have adequate memory skills to be able to retain and apply lifeguard training knowledge.
7.Ability to effectively communicate information with members, peers and supervisors.
8.Must be observant, safety conscious, and able to react calmly and quickly in an emergency.

Position Summary: Manage the daily Warehouse shipping schedule by directing the activities for loading and shipping product. Maintain warehouse records and perform job assignments as directed by Warehouse Team Leaders and Warehouse Manager to insure we meet our warehouse and customer satisfaction goals. Primary Responsibilities: Run workstation and the daily shipping and unloading schedule. Communicate with Warehouse Team Leader and Guard Shack about the ongoing shipping process and any concerns related to meeting our schedule. Daily tasks include: * Transfer orders to shipped status. * Execute daily Warehouse Management System checklist. * Maintain shipping supply inventory and pallets control. * Write work orders and maintain files. * Assign orders in Team Leaders absence. * Compile monthly Aging Inventory Report. * Track local hold product and coordinate disposition. * Research variances on inventory control. * Manage dock schedule: orders to meet 99% fill rate and 96% on time to customer. * Manage trailer pool, railcar unloading/switching and inbound unloading.
