We will look to you to promote our CHIEF core values of compassion, humility, integrity, excellence and fun. The Life Enrichment Coordinator will be responsible for planning activities based on our residents' interests, needs and abilities to enhance their quality of life.


  • Develops a Life Enrichment program based on our residents' interests, needs and abilities, enhancing their wellness and quality of life

  • Creates a Life Enrichment calendar that highlights the scheduled activities, events and outings

  • Establishes and maintains a volunteer program through recruiting and provides training and support for our volunteers

  • Completes new resident and quarterly assessments to identify our residents' interests

  • Additional duties as assigned


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year senior living, hospice, in-home health care, or skilled nursing experience in a therapeutic recreation and / or senior activities role

  • Must have a driver's license

  • Will need to have exceptional problem-solving and time management skills

  • The ability to work a full shift, come to work on time and work overtime as needed

  • The ability to work according to the necessary schedule to meet job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation

Duties and Responsibilities * Provide overall organization to Operations Manager and Mill Manager * Help answer phones, greet guests and maintain Outlook calendars. * Assist with planning, coordination and reporting. * Provide general support and communication to staff and management * Proficiency in Windows based software programs; in particular, spreadsheet, presentation and database programs are required. * Minimum typing speed of 60 wpm is essential. Key Competencies: * Ability to work independently, manages multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment. * Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required. Ability to communicate effectively with corporate/region/group/division and customer contacts is critical. * Strong problem solving and attention to detail skills are required. * Regular and punctual attendance is required. * SAP knowledge * Interpersonal and communication skills * Self-motivated * Attention to detail. Qualifications: * High school diploma or GED equivalent required. College degree preferred * 3-5 years administrative support experience.
