Life Enrichment Assistant - Goshen

As a Life Enrichment Assistant, you will be an integral part of our caring and compassionate team, focused on enriching the lives of residents facing memory challenges, such as dementia or Alzheimer's disease.

Your role will involve assisting and collaborating with other team members to plan and execute engaging activities that promote cognitive stimulation, social interaction, and emotional well-being. By providing meaningful experiences, you will contribute to creating a supportive and nurturing environment that enhances the quality of life for our residents.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Two or more years of previous experience working with older adults.

• CNA license, preferred.

• Strong interpersonal communication skills required.

• Dependable, cooperative, and highly motivated to work with and care for the elderly.

• Creative program planning skills.

• Special training in the needs of dementia and Alzheimers and willingness to continue with ongoing continuing education in dementia issues.

Schedule:

• 64 hours per pay period, M-F with rotating weekends
