Amica Life Insurance Company located in Lincoln, RI is seeking an Associate Life Customer Service Representative. The selected individual will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing and processing policyholder service requests for coverage.
The training hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30AM to 4:45 PM for approximately 2 to 3 months.
The working hours after training are Monday through Friday, 10:45 AM to 7:00 PM with a rotating Saturday shift from 9:00 AM to 5:15 PM, with a day off during that week.
Discuss and answer questions about policy provisions and procedures to policyholders and staff as needed for traditional life, universal life, and annuity policies
Communicate with policyholders on all policy service matters either by telephone, in writing, or occasionally in person
Select and produce letters using a computerized letter writing system
Update and obtain information from the computer related to coverage
Strong verbal and written communications skills and the ability to work as a team member with limited supervision are required
Demonstrated skill in decision-making, case management, communication and customer service
Spanish proficiency is a plus
Proficiency with computers and able to type a minimum of 35 WPM
