Placement is looking for entrepreneurial Life Coaches to work directly with our clients. In this role, you'll help clients achieve their goals and enable clients to move faster, with better results, than they would alone. Youll work 1:1 with clients to find their direction, improve well-being, develop better habits, manage stress and more.

We are rapidly expanding our community of top-tier Life, Leadership, Career, and Job Search Coaches to help people improve their lives. As a Life Coach on the Placement platform, you get to spend your time coaching instead of grinding away at sales and marketing.

This role is a flexible, fully-remote, contract role for US-based coaches.

In addition to connecting our clients with expert Life Coaches, we also have a suite of tools to help them easily book sessions, chat with their coach, track goal progress, and learn how to put their best foot forward.

Responsibilities

  • Coach clients to achieve their life goals through 1:1 remote video sessions
  • Retain clients by understanding their needs, helping them craft a plan, and working with them over time to execute on that plan
  • Professionally manage your roster of clients, including following up with call notes after meetings and nudging them when they need an extra push.
  • Communicate asynchronously with clients in a timely manner
  • Leverage Placement technology to engage with clients
  • Overall, deliver spectacular service to wonderful clients who are committed to improving their lives!

Requirements

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • Life coaching certifications from an ICF or CCE accredited organization. In lieu of a certification, 3+ years of life coaching, counseling, or similar experience
  • Bonus: 100+ hours of life coaching time in the last 2 years.
  • College degree in Psychology, Counseling, Therapy, Education, or Management
  • Bonus: Masters or Masters in Applied Positive
  • 5+ years total work experience
  • Bonus: Currently active in a professional coaching organization or equivalent
  • A passion for coaching and helping people improve their lives
  • Life coaching skills include: goal setting, stress management, habit building, direction/purpose finding, well-being improvement, accountability, confidence building, and more.
  • Bonus: extra certification or training related to coaching or mentoring

This position requires the</p><p>application of specialized skills and training, planning and organizational skills to meet the particular needs</p><p>of the group being served.</p><p>Essential Functions</p><p>Coordinate and facilitate structured activities/workshops for LSP residents.</p><p>Work closely with Site Director and staff members to ensure quality services are provided.</p><p>Provide instruction to residents by explaining and demonstrating the proper techniques, procedures,</p><p>and rules used in specific activities, games and sports.</p><p>Evaluate the overall need, cost, quality, and effectiveness of activities and programs in order to</p><p>provide recommendation for improvements.</p><p>Conduct regular safety inspections of recreation equipment and grounds.</p><p>Transport personnel, participants, supplies, and equipment as necessary for work activities.</p><p>Develop a weekly calendar for activities that is distributed to all NSP staff. Prepare announcements,</p><p>bulletins, flyers, calendars, and other promotional material.</p><p>Requisition, secure, and inventory necessary materials, supplies and equipment.</p><p>Motivate residents to become involved in recreation programs by participating and leading specific</p><p>activities.</p><p>Develop open communication with local parks department and recreation centers.</p><p>Plan and develop cultural activities with supervisor's approval.</p><p>Support the principles of the Missouri Model with the end goal teaching the young people to make</p><p>positive, lasting changes in their behavior by preparing them to be self-sufficient through education</p><p>and work experience.</p><p>Other duties that may be assigned</p><p>Qualifications:</p><p>Bachelor's Degree in Recreation Therapy, Education, Health Education', Health Services</p><p>Administration; Public Health; and related field required.</p><p>2 years experience in a role where activities (arts, sports, etc) were facilitated with a group of teens.</p><p>Positive attitude and professional demeanor, good ethical and moral character</p><p>Must work well with others and have good written &amp; verbal communication skills</p><p>Possession of a Valid New York State Driver's License.</p><p>Able to drive a 10 to 15 passenger van.</p><p>Knowledge of recreational programming and the basic fundamentals of common recreational sports</p><p>and activities.</p><p>Ability to operate a computer and associated software to prepare promotional materials, calendars,</p><p>and reports.</p><p>Must be able to pass required Safe Crisis Management (SCM) training.</p><br> Sheltering Arms New York NY
