Outpatient Mental Health Position (32 hours/Benefits Eligible)

Ambulatory Mental Health / Intake Social Worker ( 32 hrs) at Mass General Hospital

Seeking a dynamic individual with excellent clinical, collaborative and consultation skills to join the outpatient mental health team at MGH's Social Service Department.

Outpatient in focus, the candidate will provide clinical social work services to patients with psychiatric and medical illnesses, including psychosocial assessments, individual counseling and group facilitation, (20 hours)

For the Intake portion of the position, the Clinical Social Worker, receives intake calls and walk ins and provides information, referral and clinical social work services to patients and families. Assesses and assists with hospital and community services/resources. Provides crisis intervention, practical assistance, care coordination and psychosocial support to patients and families. To qualify you must have: * Education: Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts.
