Licensing Coordinator
Purpose of Role:
Assist in the administration and maintenance of processes and associated documentation related to licensing compliance. Research and compile information required to develop process improvement recommendations. Acquires knowledge necessary to perform and/or advance professional duties.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for the accurate, timely, and successful procurement and renewal of all shop licenses and registrations in a designated area.
Develop knowledge of industry/functional regulations and legislation as applicable.
Monitor and maintain electronic records of company licenses.
Identify and troubleshoot licensing issues.
Directly and confidently communicate with state and local regulatory agencies via phone and email.
Maintain confidentiality in dealing with sensitive information.
Develop and maintain relationships within FirstCash's human resource, operations, and field management groups, and outside license agency representatives.
Strong initiative for records management.
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to organize and meet deadlines.
Perform other related duties as required
Typical Minimum Education & Experience (Knowledge/Skills/Abilities) Required:
High School Diploma, or GED.
Must be proficient with Excel, Outlook and Word.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proofreading.
Exhibits strong attention to detail.
Must handle confidential information with discretion.
Previous experience in credentialing, accreditation or licensing is highly preferred
