If you enjoy being the first to see and treat patients, as well as use your technical skills in more advanced ways, Virginia Veterinary Center is the place to be Anticipated Schedule: 7pm - 7am (additional $5/hr for overnight shifts) Three 12-hour shifts Two 12-hour on call shifts per month Weekend shifts required Compensation: Competitive compensation which is based on experience & skill level. $30-35/ hr. About You: Credentialed veterinary technician with s trong technical skills (to include placing IV catheters, venipuncture, administering premedication, anesthesia induction & monitoring, patient preparation, surgical nursing, and perioperative nursing care, radiographs, etc.) You can easily adapt to the different needs of each patient and are able to remain composed during stressful and emotional situations.
