Scarborough Animal Hospital is excited to welcome a new doctor to our team. We are a four-doctor veterinary practice that cares for dogs, cats, and limited exotics (like an occasional chicken).
With the arrival of our new doctor in August, we aim to expand our surgical team. We seek a professional who can uphold our medical excellence protocols, which include placing IV catheters in all surgical patients, conducting pre-surgical blood work, and utilizing a comprehensive range of surgical monitoring equipment such as capnographs, SPO2 monitors, blood pressure monitors, ECGs, and more.
We champion the utilization of Veterinary Technicians, allowing them to apply the skills they acquired in college to the fullest extent of their legal scope of practice.
Our veterinary technicians are cross-trained to be versatile within the animal hospital, ready to assist wherever needed. We rely on our technicians to manage the workflow and lead the staff through their shifts while maintaining a fun work environment. This approach has resulted in minimal staff turnover at our hospital.
