We are seeking a LICENSED Veterinary Technician to join our BVNS Springfield Team.
About you:
You have a strong foundational understanding and can perform the basic responsibilities of a veterinary technician including (but not limited to):
Venipuncture
Placing IV Catheters
Drug Calculations
Administration of Medications (IV or other methods)
Taking Vitals
Observe, document and recognize changes in patient attitude, abnormal behavior, and changes in condition
Providing high quality medical/nursing care
You work well independently and as part of a team, practicing good judgment to ensure high-quality care for all patients
You adapt to the individual needs of each patient, are not afraid to ask questions, are eager to enhance your skill set, and maintain a positive attitude
EzyVet and SmartFlow experience is a plus.

Bush Veterinary Neurology has four locations across 2 states! Our clinics are operated by board certified neurologists that provide same-day life-saving neurosurgery and long-term medical management. Our hospitals house state of the art equipment to provide advanced diagnostic testing including cerebrospinal fluid collection/analysis, computed tomography, electroencephalography, MRI and more! Our neurologists perform both spinal and brain surgeries. Some of these surgeries include intervertebral disc surgery, brain tumor removal, foramen magnum decompression, ventricular shunt replacement and more!! Veterinary technicians play an integral role in our hospital whether they are handling patient care, taking care of clients, running our diagnostic imaging equipment, or assisting doctors in surgery. You will fully utilize your skillset and continue to develop your knowledge for years to come! We are looking for a compassionate technician who is ready to put their skills and leadership ability to work!
