The Licensed Veterinary Technician, also referred to as a certified tech or veterinary nurse, must be proficient in placing IV catheters, digital x-rays, anesthesia and anesthesia monitoring, intubation, post-op care, critical care, medical care, assistance in surgery, dosages of medication, and knowledge of state-of-the-art medical and surgical equipment.
