Olsson is looking for a motivated Licensed Transportation Engineer to join our bridge and roadway team in Overland Park, KS. Our bridge group works on a wide range of projects including bridge and retaining walls, dams, storm and traffic structures, inspections, rehabilitations, load ratings, and assisting with construction engineering services. We facilitate designs on transportation projects that include grade separations, interchanges, and stream crossings for public and private clients throughout the Midwest. You will be able to collaborate with roadway, traffic, geotechnical, and storm water engineers on projects that make a positive impact in our community while simultaneously offering you the ability to grow and pick up a wide array of skills.

You bring to the team:

  • Strong communication skills - written and verbal.

  • Ability to contribute and work well on a team.

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering

  • Master's degree, or in pursuit, a plus.

  • 4 - 15 years of relevant engineering experience.

  • P.E. license required.

  • Experience with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design, preferred.

  • Experience with bridge analysis and design programs (LARSA, LEAP Bridge Expertise, Lpile, SPColumn, or MDX), preferred.

  • Experience with KDOT/MoDOT bridge projects, preferred.

  • Experience in MicroStation, preferred.
