JOB SUMMARY: This position provides clinical and administrative supervision over the CCOS site assigned. The employee in this position is also responsible for providing individual, group, and family therapy to CCOS clients as assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES: The list of essential functions, as outlined herein, is intended to be representative of the tasks performed within this classification with or without an accommodation.   • Direct the day-to-day clinical and administrative operations of the CCOS team.

  • Assign the most appropriate staff to program participants and provide clinical supervision and oversight of the assessment process and treatment planning for each program participant and his or her family.

  • Participate in staff recruitment, interviewing, hiring, work assignments, and orientation and performance supervision according to work rules, regulations and policies.

  • Develop and implement program staff orientation and training which include training staff on clinical record requirements; regularly reviewing individual assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes written by program staff; and supervising program staff.

  • Develop and administer the program budget including line items to purchase necessary materials or equipment.

  • Carry out and document quality-assurance activities and reviews of use of program services.

  • Initiate and maintain relationships with schools law-enforcement and other human services agencies and with informal community resources.

  • Provide on-going assessment of the program participants that includes the program participant and the familys strengths, needs, abilities and preferences.

  • Conduct brief behavioral health status exam assessments and provide direction on clinical treatment.

  • Conduct staff meetings, team meetings and record reviews. Maintain quality documentation of all significant activities in an accurate and timely manner.

  • Provide on-going training and clinical supervision to promote clinicians in their professional and team development.

  • Ensure that services provided are sensitive to the needs of trauma survivors.

  • Act as liaison with other partners and consult with director to maintain coordination in the treatment process.

  • Provide feedback to clinicians to ensure fidelity to results and goals.

  • Coordinate and collaborate with referral sources and other treatment providers.

  • Monitor program for contract compliance and adherence to statutory requirements.

  • Complete employee evaluations as directed in agency policy and procedures.

  • Review documentation for quality and respond to any documentation audit alerts.

  • Monitor therapist schedules and productivity and provide support, encouragement, and an improvement plan when needed.

  • Create and maintain a healthy workplace culture and a strong team environment.

  • Provide trainings to the community and attend marketing events.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Education: Masters degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, social work or counseling. Licensed or license eligible under F.S. 490 or 491.

  • Experience: Minimum of two graduate level practicums/internships, or equivalent job experience.

TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT: Completes all requirements according to Individual Training Plan within the first six months of hire and annually. Other training and/or professional development may be assigned due to evolution of programs.
