Category Care Management Description Keeping license current by completing required continuing education hours as mandated by Louisiana. Keeping abreast of current literature and developments in the field, and attending required agency training. Appropriately documents clinical service provided.

Ensures to use the utmost of care in protecting the confidentiality of client records in accordance with State and Federal laws (42CFR). Collaborates with medical, nursing, and counseling staff regarding detox clients Provide professional and ethical therapy to dual diagnosed chemically dependent and mental health patients in treatment through group, individual counseling, family counseling, discharge planning and consultation with outside healthcare providers, and education. Documenting casework in a timely manner in compliance with agency policies and procedures, including writing objective case notes, progress and discharge reports, treatment planning and other timely status reports as requested by the supervisor and according to Louisiana & Joint Commission standards. Presents changes, improvements or additions to protocols or behavioral health services to the team.

Understands and adheres to LONGBRANCH HEALTHCARE's compliance standards as they appear in LONGBRANCH HEALTHCARE's Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy. Keeps abreast of all pertinent federal, state and LONGBRANCH HEALTHCARE regulations, laws, and policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified. Performs other duties and tasks as required.
