Tuition Assistance Program Generous paid time off (Including 5 Self-Care Days/Floating Holidays, 12 Sick Days, 15 Vacation Days, and 11 Holidays) Healthcare Plans (Medical, Dental, Vision, and Pet Care) 403(b) Plan (GSS contributes 3% of your salary to your 403(b) plan after 3 years of service, with contributions increasing over time) Candidates hired in this position will work in person but will have the flexibility to work a hybrid schedule when program need allows Overview As a member of a multidisciplinary team, the Time Limited Rental Assistance Clinical Social Worker (LCSW/LMHC) works with up to 31 program participants ages 18-24 experiencing homelessness who are preparing to transition to permanent housing in the community, while gaining job training, employment, and educational and life-skills competencies. The Clinical Social Worker participates in the Sanctuary Model of care to insure trauma-sensitivity to all residents. Reports to:

Program Director Primary Location: 1995 Jerome Avenue Bronx, NY 10453 (& NYC/Citywide Area) Hours: 35 Hours/Week; Exempt (Evenings Required) Salary commensurates with relevant experience and licensure. LMSW/LMHC salary range is 61-72K LCSW salary range 65k-75K Additional Compensation: $1,000 sign-on bonus paid in first payroll and $2,000 retention bonus paid out after first year of employment Major Duties: Provides individual and group counseling, using agreed-upon models.

Facilitates regular psychoeducational groups to participants on a broad range of topics as it pertains to their goals for living independently and maintaining housing. Functions as a member of the multidisciplinary team. Participates in Case Review Meetings, Interdisciplinary Conferences, and other related meetings.

Participate in home visits with a team member to assess if a participant is in crisis. Attend and participate in GSS meetings and trainings as directed, as well as any external meetings/training. In collaboration with other team members, arranges for wrap-around services in the community the program participants will be residing in.

Responsible for documenting services/contacts on the GSS program database and other such city databases, as well as additional specific documentation in a timely manner. Supports the Sanctuary model of trauma informed care. Effectively uses and practices the Sanctuary Model tools: safety plans, community meetings, psycho-educational groups, team meetings, red flag reviews, treatment planning conferences (or similar), and self-care in the program to create a non-violent and trauma-sensitive culture.

Promotes and models the seven Sanctuary Model commitments to create a non-violent and trauma-sensitive culture.

Perform other duties as required. Qualifications: Master's Degree in Social Work Required, NYS LMSW; NYS LCSW Required OR Master's Degree in Mental Health Counselling and NYS LMHC will be required Clinical work with youth preferred; including crisis management.

Must have a clear understanding of the needs of young adults experiencing homelessness and a sensitivity to ethnic and cultural differences, and an understanding of the needs of the LGBTQ community. Must have the ability to communicate with staff on all levels. Demonstrated competence in verbal, written, organizational, and prioritization skills.

Capability to transition easily between working independently with a high degree of self-initiative and contributing as part of a team. Excellent crisis intervention, advocacy and problem solving skills. Must have a commitment to work from a strength-based, youth development and trauma-informed perspective.

Flexible hours to insure access and availability. Bilingual - Spanish not required but preferred.
