If you are looking for a great opportunity to utilize your experience and training in the field of Psychology, we have the position for you. Wernersville State Hospital is seeking a hard working, passionate, and caring Licensed Psychologist that wants to make a positive difference in the lives of consumers that reside at the facility.You will represent the Psychology Department as a member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team, which sets goals and approaches by assessing the needs and problems of consumers by formulating individual treatment plans. You will administer psychological testing by utilizing techniques to measure levels of emotional and mental functions as an aid to more accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.

Work Hours and additional information:

  • The Department of Human Services provides excellent benefits, pay increases, paid leave and holidays, as well as opportunities for career advancement.

  • Hours of work: 8:00am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday, 30-minute lunch.

  • Overtime: As required and subject to emergency call in.

Qualifications:

  • Necessary Special Requirement- Possession of a valid license to practice psychology as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Psychology.

  • PA residency currently waivedfor this title.
