Licensed Professional Counselor (Lpc)

Job Description Job Description We are looking for a Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our Compassionate team We are a medical office in Frisco, TX that provides medical and therapeutic services. You will work with a team of counselors who focus on individualized care, optimal functioning, and improvements in mental health, wellness, and overall patient well-being.

You will provide psychotherapy and counseling therapies to patients dealing with a variety of psychiatric and substance use disorders. We believe in mental health for not only our patients but also our employees The hours are very flexible and in-person . Key Responsibilities and Tasks: Establish open lines of communication for individuals with mental or emotional issues Provide prevention-oriented therapy Develops therapeutic relationship with patients and significant others, and uses communication skills to engage them in treatment Implement and review treatment plans Collaborate with additional treatment providers and placement agencies Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner Creates a positive and productive work environment through organization, assessments, and feedback Additional duties as assigned Key Qualifications:

Master’s Degree required Active LPC or LCSW in Texas Previous experience in mental health counseling or other related fields Experienced in working with adult, and/or child and adolescent population Familiarity with community mental health resources Excellent written and verbal communications skills Ability to develop mutual trust with patients Strong leadership skills Note: Applicants should be available to work a minimum of 24 hours per week and must be willing to conduct therapy sessions on-site.
