Licensed Practical Nurses of all experience levels are needed to provide care to our elderly clients. New nurses will benefit from our team of nursing supervisors providing mentorship and guidance as they start their career with Central Penn. For more experienced nurses, home care offers an opportunity to provide one on one assistance in a home setting where vital care is provided for a clients physical, mental, and emotional health. For both seasoned nurses and recent graduates, focusing on building a relationship with your client is a priority.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Our Licensed Practical Nurses are responsible for providing direct nursing care under the supervision of a Physician and Registered Nurse in accordance with the Practical Nurse Act of Pennsylvania.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Ability to assess client/patient physical, mental, and/or emotional condition(s) and seek appropriate help ensuring timely interventions
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to communicate and interact professionally and in a courteous manner with CPNC staff and clients
