The LVN Nurse advocates for patient safety and protocol integrity, adheres to nursing standards, and communicates effectively to ensure effective conduct clinical trials and quality patient care.

Obtains, m on i tors, and documents vital signs to inc l ude p u l se, b l ood pressure, temperature, respiratory rate, height, and weight Confirms and documents fas t ing status Obtains and documents pain sca l e and fatigue scale Accesses, f l ushes, and deaccesses central venous access devices using aseptic techn i que Obtains per i pheral venous access using aseptic technique Obtains clin i cal labs and study specific spec i mens according to the pat i ent's schedule and p r otocol gu i de li nes.
