Resident Care Director Qualifications and Skills Associates degree or higher in human service management, housing management, social work or nursing, or related fields Experience in community health, human services or assisted living preferred, but motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply - we're happy to train the right candidate RN or LPN nursing practice background Strong understanding of assisted living, Medicaid, Medicare, and SWH programs, or a willingness to learn on the job Completion of a 3-day orientation on assisted living and other required topics according to the EOEA's assisted living regulations plus a minimum of 15 hours of ongoing education and training each year Annual physical exam and negative Mantoux test (or chest X-ray) Excellent organizational, communication, and social skills, with demonstrated leadership abilities Massachusetts driver's license with a safe driving history
