Avera is currently seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) who are looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera’s patient-focused settings. This position will mainly support the General Surgery Clinic, but will be cross-trained to other specialty clinic areas.

Day Shift Clinic hours, no weekends, holidays, or call time. Career Growth opportunities Job Summary Perform general nursing care to patient Greet patients and prepare them for physical examinations. Obtain height/weight, blood pressure and medical history information.

Administer prescribed medications and treatments. Observe, record and report patient's condition and reaction to drugs and treatments to the provider. Assists in the orientation of new clinic nursing staff. Education and/or Experience Previous clinic experience preferred Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing required Licensure/Certification/Registration Basic Life Support required within 30 days of hire Minnesota LPN license required upon hire Work Schedule Clinic hours: 8:00am-5:00pm; 64 hours every 2 weeks What Makes Avera Special?
