About Pender Memorial Hospital's Skilled Nursing unit:

We are seeking an LPN to join our team at Pender Memorial Hospital's Skilled Nursing unit. The SNF unit boasts a stellar reputation as the premier Long-Term Care (LTC) facility in the community, recognized for its exceptional standards of care. Operating as a closely-knit team with minimal turnover, their remarkable teamwork ensures efficient coverage and limited callouts, contributing to seamless operations. Dedicated to exceeding expectations, the staff demonstrates a commitment to lifelong learning and collaboration, aiming to uphold their esteemed reputation by providing exemplary care. Situated in a hospital with an Emergency Department downstairs, nurses can familiarize themselves with the broader hospital environment while maintaining their focus on delivering outstanding care within the SNF unit.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in nursing

  • Current North Carolina Nursing License or Multi-State/Compact

  • Dedication to exceeding expectations and upholding the facility's esteemed reputation

  • Familiarity with Long-Term Care (LTC) practices and protocols.

  • One-year relevant experience, preferred

If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. To be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
