Responsibilities

We offer a M-F schedule and our clinics are open from 8-5. There is no call, no evening or weekend work, and we observe paid federal holidays. We offer a rewarding culture of caring and service.

As an LPN/LVN with Valor Healthcare you will enjoy the privilege of providing healthcare of the highest quality to America's Veterans as part of a Patient Aligned Care Team and will have an active role in developing and implementing a patient care plan.

  • Performs nursing assessments and preventive health services.

  • Take vital signs including pain assessment

  • Administer medications and operate diagnostic equipment

  • Prepare treatment rooms

  • Collect and prepare lab specimens as directed by provider

  • Performs point of care testing as directed by provider

  • Active in routine patient education

  • Answers and returns patient telephone calls, messages and alerts

  • Completes all clinical reminders to keep each patient up to date in the system

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • 1 year of Primary Care and/or Chronic Disease management experience

  • Current and active State Nursing License

  • Current certification in BLS

  • Strong computer skills, including EMR experience

Responsibilities As a Physician with Valor Healthcare you'll have the opportunity to serve our nation's Veterans with the same high level of care they have shown while serving our country. This position will cover for the following states: Pennsylvania, Ohio and Tennesse. We are seeking healthcare professionals who are driven and committed to ensure the health and wellbeing of these selfless men and women. * Office hours are 8 to 5, weekdays only * Examine the patient/client and determine the best course of action while documenting in our paperless health program – The VA's VISTA/CPRS electronic patient record system. * Develop and implement patient management plans, communicating with Patient Aligned Care Team to ensure appropriate standards of care. * Partner with the Center Medical Director to discuss patient outcomes, policies, procedures, and records. * Completes all clinical reminders to keep each patient up to date in the system. Qualifications JOB REQUIREMENTS: * Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine Degree * Board certified in family practice or internal medicine * Valid, unrestricted license in the state of desired employment * Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (Must be Renewed Annually) * Current, unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration * Excellent computer skills, including EMR * This is a float position and will require travel throughout our 5 Pittsburgh locations U.S. Healthworks Rochester PA
