Hours Per Week: 36

Scheduled Work Hours/Shift: 3- 12 hour shifts per week

Responsible for the delivery of patient care by applying skills and techniques common to the practice of vocational nursing. The Licensed Practical Nurse functions under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and performs tasks related to patient care by helping them recover from injury or illness, maintaining a basic level of comfort, and implementing interventions, and assisting with evaluation of patient response.

Additional Job Description

Education: Graduate from a recognized Licensed Practical Nursing program and one year of LPN experience.

Licensure/Certifications: Licensed as a Practical Nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing required.

One year of LPN experience is preferred. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) with the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
