LPN for GI: Bethany Medical is a Multi-Specialty provider practice located in Greensboro, High Point, Winston-Salem, Kernersville, Jamestown, North Wilkesboro, and Mount Airy, North Carolina. The LPN will work in our brand-new, state-of-the-art Endoscopy Unit in High Point. They will work closely with our GI Provider and fellow staff members to provide quality patient care and satisfaction in our pre- and post-op procedure areas. This is a full-time position Monday-Friday.

Duties:

• Perform nursing actions consistent with established policies and procedures when providing direct/indirect patient care.
• Monitor patient BP, pulse, respirations, and SaO2%.
• Start IVs.
• Administer medications and IV fluids as ordered by a physician.
• Maintain open airway and administer O2 as ordered.
• Obtain EKGs.
• Input data into EMR
• Give post-procedure instructions to patient and family, including medication and diet education.
• Patient assessment before discharge

• Customer service and detail-oriented
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Be able to establish and maintain a working relationship with Providers, management, staff, and patients.

Qualifications:

• Applicant must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an LPN in the state of North Carolina with at least one year of nursing experience.
• Must be certified in both BCLS and ACLS is preferred
• 2-year LPN
• Experience with Allscripts a Plus!
