Overview:

According to the plan for care prescribed by the Registered Nurse for assigned patients, the LPN will provide individualized nursing care in accordance with the Standards of Nursing Practice for adult and geriatric patients.

This position is: Full Time, Days, 36 hours per week

Qualifications:

  • License: Licensed to practice practical nursing in the state of Oklahoma

  • Experience: Four years of LPN experience

  • Required Education: Graduate of approved school of practical nursing

  • Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association

  • Preferred Experience: Rehab experience within the last two years. One year experience in acute medical surgical nursing

Our Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) work under the direction of RNs and in compliance with Physicians' orders. Home Health LPNs help evaluate patients and provide nursing services to clients in various senior living communities, including assisted living and independent living facilities. Our facility-based LPNs enjoy: * providing care to our patients within the beautiful confines of the assisted living facilities where our patients reside * 1:1 patient care * the ability to follow each patient from start to discharge Encompass LPNs work collaboratively with facility wellness staff on a daily basis to ensure strong lines of communication and overall continuity of care for the residents and their loved ones.
