Licensed Practical Nurse

Our Family Practice Great Oaks office is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to join their team. Open to Full time or Part time hours. M-F rotating Saturday.

Phlebotomy, EKG, and adult/pediatric vaccine experience preferred!

• This position is eligible for up to a $3,000 Recruitment and Retention Bonus!!*

Responsibilities:

• Document verbal conversations with patients when appropriate.

• Document information into patient record in an accurate, legible and timely manner.

• Maintain timely patient flow.

• Prepare patient for visit as appropriate, based on office/provider requirements.

• Obtain specimens (i.e., urine,blood, etc.) from patients as directed by the provider.

• Accurate and timely order entry into the lab system.

• Perform clinical office procedures as directed by the provider (i.e. PFT, EKG, nebulizer, medication administration and immunizations).

• Issue necessary referrals and obtain prior authorizations based on insurance requirements.

• Obtain necessary documentation from referring physician according to insurance requirements.

• Process patient prescriptions.

• Administer and record vaccines.

Annual salary range: $21.75 - $31.00
