Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant Per Diem Days

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Physical Therapist Assistant shall demonstrate the clinical ability to provide therapy services to patients with various diagnoses as prescribed by a licensed physician. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Education / Licensure / Certifications: BLS approved by the AHA.

Associates Degree in PTA. Licensed by Florida Department of Health

Minimum Experience: Required - none. Desired - One year or more.

Physical Requirements: Frequently required to lift up to 40 Pounds.

Occasionally may lift greater than 40 lbs. With assistance of staff member and/or approved lifting device. Constantly required to use overall vision, reading/close up work, peripheral vision, depth perception, color perception, display dexterity through palpation skills, hear and demonstrate normal speech, talk in person, concentrate, make decisions, have public contact. Subject to normal working conditions.
