Designed with patients and physicians in mind, HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress aims to be the hospital of choice for the northwest corridor.
HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress is affiliated with HCA Houston Healthcare, part of the HCA Healthcare Gulf Coast Division. The division is a comprehensive network of hospitals, outpatient surgery centers, emergency centers and diagnostic imaging facilities in greater Houston, Corpus Christi and South Texas. Facilities include: 17 hospitals, nine ambulatory care centers, 13 off-campus emergency centers, and a regional transfer center.
What you will do in this role:
Assists in the delivery of patient care as established by the licensed therapist to reach treatment goals through a written treatment plan.
Responsible for maintaining patient records.
Maintains good communication with physicians, licensed therapists, nurses, allied health professionals, social workers, discharge planners, and hospital personnel.
Participates in continuous quality improvement and strives to excel in customer service.
Responsible for knowledge and skill necessary to provide care based on physical, psychological, educational, safety and related criteria for the pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric population.
Graduate of a two-year college program for Physical Therapy Assistants.
Associate degree that has been approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
What qualifications you will need:
One year experience is preferred.
Possesses or is eligible for valid license to practice as Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of Texas.
