Competitive Pay

  • Salary Range: $50,000 - $80,000/year based on experience

$5,000 Sign on Bonus Available!

Join us at Embark at our short-term residential treatment facility in Independence, Missouri where our team of therapists, academic staff, and life coaches offer treatment, guidance, and support to drive adolescent anxiety, depression, and suicide rates to all-time lows. Our Independence location serves ages 12-18 and their families in person at our beautiful clinic just outside of the Kansas City area.

We are looking a for Licensed Mental Health Therapist! At Embark Independence, our Licensed Mental Health therapists work with residents to provide safety in day-to-day campus life, as well as to encourage residents in their daily treatment goals. In addition to this, our therapists collaborate with our life coaches and academic staff to facilitate success for our residents in our community-based care setting. Responsibilities

  • Manageable caseloads that allow for establishing good rapport with clients.

  • Meet treatment standards through implementation of required notes and MTP standard requirements.

  • Meet desired program goals through implementing and meeting outcomes testing and standards.

  • Ensure program completion and discharge requirements are met for all students.

  • Case Management

  • Treatment care planning, discharge planning, aftercare planning
  • Community coaching around involvement in a society

Qualifications

What do you bring to this position?

  • A desire to facilitate client growth through a team approach, working with other care providers.

  • A passion for counseling teens and young adults.

  • Strong clinical skills and a commitment to evidence-based practices.

  • A desire to perform and develop counseling/therapeutic expertise in individual, family, and group therapy.

  • Preferred

  • Two years of working experience as a licensed therapist leading individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
  • Preferred
  • One year of experience in a residential setting using relational, experiential, and systemic modalities.
  • Ability to plan, implement, and adjust a course of treatment as required.

  • Ability to pass a state background check.
