The Invo-Progressus team currently has exciting career opportunities available for Licensed Master Counselors in the Norco, CA area to provide services in a K-12 school program. Requirements:

  • PPS Credential in School Psychology

  • Proficiency to conduct psycho-educational evaluations of school-aged children identified or suspected of having learning or behavioral disabilities, and to develop reports on findings

  • Provide psychological counseling to students, parents and staff, and as needed make referral to appropriate community resources

  • Observe pupils in classrooms and other school settings

  • Serves as member of the IEP team for students with psychological concerns

  • Facilitate goals and objectives per child's educational plan

  • Administer and evaluate standard psychological tests to assess the intellectual, educational, emotional, social and behavioral development of referred students, if needed

  • Maintain appropriate records

  • Work in coordination with school personnel and parents to develop appropriate programs for eligible students

  • Ability to effectively communicate with teachers, administrators, and parents

  • Ensure all services are performed in accordance with state laws and regulations

  • Appropriate State licensure or ability to obtain required licensure

  • Experience working in school programs or with pediatric populations is preferred

Specifically, our LVNs are responsible for coordinating the LVN clinics in housing units working with a primary care team, performing/reading vital signs, EKGs, vaccinations, and other nursing care duties. Our LVNs assist in MD line by processing patient paperwork, noting Provider orders, and working closely with Pharmacy. Moreover, our LVNs administer tuberculin skin tests in Receiving and Release (R&R); conduct visual and auditory acuity measurements in clinic settings; dress superficial injuries; and perform all assigned nursing procedures at the bedside in licensed facilities of the prison. Furthermore, you will be providing observation and therapeutic intervention consistent with the patients physical and psychological status, evaluating effectiveness of the patient treatment regimen, and recording progress. Additionally, you will be documenting all clinical observations and relevant activities in the Unit Health Record, including objective and subjective data, treatment interventions, and patient teaching.
