This unique Community Mental Health position offers a clinician the opportunity to support individuals with mental health challenges in Residential, Supported Housing and Community settings. The Clinician will be trained in and take the lead in providing Innovative Evidence Based Practices (EBPs), including Illness Management and Recovery (IMR) and Recovery Oriented Cognitive Therapy (CT-R.)

The clinician will;

  • Receive intensive training in Evidence Based Practices with participation in supportive clinical consultation teams.

  • Build relationships with individuals served and develop shared understanding of Person's goals and the steps necessary to achieve goals. Along with this, all clinicians will demonstrate respect for all Persons regardless of ability status, culture, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, or ethnicity.

  • Complete all screening and enrollment of persons served referred to ACCS in compliance with DMH regulations, including initial and ongoing assessments for risk and protective factors using agency risk assessment protocols and tools.

  • Complete individual sessions, facilitate support groups and treatment planning meetings with individuals served.

  • Providing clinical consultation and training to staff in the integrated teams providing these treatments.

  • Participate in On-Call rotation and critical incident review process.

  • Obtain and maintain MAP certification.


Master's Degree in social services Field. Must be a licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LICSW, LCSW, LMHC. LRC, LADAC I, physician, RN OTR/L or Psychologist) or License Eligible as well as two years of professional experience working. Valid driver's licenses required.

Position Summary: Electroencepholograph Technicians (EEG) administer EEG tests on patients for diagnostic purposes under the direct supervision of a physician. The EEG technician operates EEG equipment and performs (INOM) Intraneuro-Operative Monitoring for carotid surgical procedures. Major Responsibilities: Assists and prepares patients for the diagnostic procedure. Accurately applies lead placements to patients to ensure best possible recording. Prepares and performs EEG diagnostic tests in accordance with department policy and procedure. Monitors patients' comfort and safety during tests, alerting physicians to abnormalities or changes in patient responses. Observe gauges, recorder, and video screens of data analysis system during imaging of EEG recordings. Performs INOM-Intraneurophysiologic operative monitoring for carotid surgical procedures. Sets up equipment and monitors the patient during the surgical procedure. Provides assistance to the Neurologist during test interpretation. Responds to all acute emergency situations in a timely manner. Maintains equipment in operating order and notifies supervisor of needed repairs. Complies with all health and safety regulations and requirements. Respects diverse views and approaches, and contributes in maintaining an environment of professionalism, tolerance, civility and acceptance toward all employees, patients and visitors. Performs other similar and related duties as required or directed. All responsibilities are essential job functions. Position Qualifications: Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, basic principles of diagnostic EEG, patient care and preparation, legal and ethical aspects of EEG practice, departmental protocols, and diagnostic protocols. Knowledge of event recorders and mobile EEG. Outstanding oral communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to explain procedures and results to patients while keeping them relaxed and comfortable. Ability to follow policies and procedures. Ability to read, write and speak clearly in English. EDUCATION: High School Diploma required. EXPERIENCE: Min 1 year EEG experience. Lead or supervisory experience preferred. LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, ETC.: Certified EEG Technician (ABRET certification) preferred. CPR / BLS required Unless certification, licensure or registration is required, an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed in this description may be substituted for the above requirements.
