We are seeking a Full Time Therapist to hire as an independent contractor in our private practice group. We are currently hiring for our PeoriaOffice. Full time therapist position schedules include daytime, evening, and Sat time availability. We welcome all independently licensed clinicians to apply.

We are a group practice with over 19 years experience supporting therapists to achieve their goal of having their own private practice. You would be working within a group setting of caring supportive people with front office staff support. We work to help therapists complete the credentialing process to be added to the insurance panels and support your personal development goals as a therapeutic provider. Desert View Counseling works to maintain a positive relationship with our community and the insurance companies to negotiate competitive compensation rates.

We are excited to welcome many different specialties of therapists to our practice as we appreciate working with a diverse group with a variety of skills. In addition we also support therapist interested in utilizing and/or expanding their trauma therapy skills. We have two EMDRIA Approved Consultants and offer support and training in EMDR therapy.

Requirements:Must be fully licensed through the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health (Associate Licenses cannot be considered at this time). Licenses accepted include Licensed Professional Counselor LPC, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist LMFT, Licensed Clinical Social Worker LCSW and PhD/PsyD Psychologist. Out of state licensed applicants can be considered if pursuing the Arizona Reciprocal License through the Arizona Board.

POSITION SUMMARY This position independently provides respiratory care, pulmonary and cardiology diagnostic testing to patients in a variety of health care settings. CORE FUNCTIONS 1. Independently provides respiratory care, pulmonary and cardiology diagnostic testing to patients in a variety of health care settings. May be assigned to a variety of areas throughout the system where respiratory care is needed. Internal customers: All levels of nursing management and staff, medical staff, and all other members of the interdisciplinary health care team. External Customers: Physicians and their office staff, payers, community agencies and regulatory agencies. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Associate or technical degree. Proof of having passed the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). RRT required for all new hires to the position after October 1, 2015. Incumbents in the position as of October 1, 2015 must possess their RRT by October 1, 2017. A current license in state practiced as required by state law. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required. In Home Care setting, must posses valid drivers license and be eligible for coverage under the company auto insurance policy. Must be knowledgeable of clinical techniques, applications and equipment as typically obtained through one year of clinical experience. Must possess highly effective human relation skills necessary to interface with patients, families, staff and other healthcare personnel.
