MHM Solutions, a Centurion Company that contracts with State and local governments nationwide to provide staffing, management, and health care services to State psychiatric hospitals and other community settings.

Essential Duties:

Provide clinical and psychosocial services for hospitalized clients. Interview clients and provide individual therapy.

Provide group therapy and/or skills groups as requested. Consult with family members/significant other to gather necessary information regarding client. Participate in family meeting with treatment team.

Educate clients and family regarding mental illness and community resources. Identify problems social worker shall work on with client and write modalities in Master Treatment Plan. Participate in discharge planning.

Attend weekly treatment team and agency meeting as directed. Meet CMS, HIPAA, and Board of Social Work standards. Comply with safety standards set by OSHA, State regulations and agency policies.

Maintain a positive work environment. Attend court hearings for clients assigned. Attend and keep current Division, Agency and department training.

Attend agency meeting as requested. Become proficient in the Avatar system.

VIEW JOBS 12/10/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-03-09T00:00 The Position Park Supervisors (Commissioned) plan, organize, oversee and participate in the administration, law enforcement, maintenance, interpretive programs and resource management of an assigned State park to include budget administration and supervision of staff. Incumbents function as first-line supervisors who train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned staff; assign and review work; and initiate disciplinary action. This recruitment is for a commissioned Park Supervisor 1 underfilling a commissioned Park Supervisor 2 position. The incumbent may auto-progress after meeting the minimum qualifications for the Park Supervisor 2 classification, satisfactory performance and endorsement by his/her appointing authority. The person selected for this position will be responsible for the management of Big Bend State Recreation Area near Laughlin, Nevada. This water recreation based park includes day use areas, large beaches, a full hook-up campground, and hiking trails. Management responsibilities include supervision of permanent and seasonal staff, administrative duties including budget development and oversight, collection and reporting of fees, and completion of routine and special reports. This is a commissioned (Law Enforcement) position with public safety responsibilities and is required to work various hours and shifts including holidays and weekends. The person selected will have to be able to work in typical Mojave Desert climates including very hot summers and mild winters. All personnel in the Park Supervisor series are responsible for ensuring a high level of customer service, developing and presenting a variety of visitor programs, performing ground/facility maintenance and custodial duties. In addition, the successful candidate is required to have natural resource management, recreation and administrative expertise. They are also required to provide training and career development for their staff, identify facility/grounds maintenance needs and determine the most cost effect way to coordinate equipment and materials. Special Notes Applicants must meet minimum standards for appointment as a peace officer as established in the Nevada Revised Statutes and Nevada Administrative Code. The physical agility exam consists of: a) Vertical jump of no less than 14 inches; b) The Illinois Agility Run in 19.5 seconds or less; c) complete not less than 30 sit-ups in 1 minute; d) complete not less than 23 consecutive push-ups; e) 300 meter run in 68 seconds or less; f) 1.5 mile run/walk in 16 minutes and 57 seconds or less; g) lift and carry a 70-90 pound bag of cement/sand from the ground and carry 10 feet to tailgate of a standard pick-up truck and then return, repeated three times; h) 100 yard swim in 5 minutes. As part of the selection process, the Division of State Parks requires; a) Physical agility exam; b) Comprehensive background investigation which will include a urinalysis, polygraph and a psychological examination; c) Physical examination. This cost will be covered by the hiring agency. Special Requirements Applicant is required to submit to a background check and physical agility examination prior to appointment. A pre-employment criminal history check and fingerprinting are required. This position is subject to call-out, shift work including evenings, weekends and holidays, and travel throughout the State as required.
