Mercy San Juan Medical Center, a Dignity Health member, is a nationally recognized not-for-profit hospital located in Carmichael, California, serving the areas of north Sacramento County and south Placer County. ResponsibilitiesThe incumbent, as a member of the multi-disciplinary team, provides the following services to patients and/or families: psychosocial assessment, counseling, crisis intervention, exploration of effective coping skills, education, and coordination of the patient's progress through the continuum of care. In addition, the incumbent provides education, consultation and support to hospital staff. REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires at least 2 years clinical and/or medical social work experience.
Master's Degree from a School of Social work accredited by the Council of Social Work Education.
Candidates must have a License, Clinical Social Worker.

Thorough comprehension of OBRA and Title 22 is required in California.
